Our puppies come with a comprehensive care contract and health guarantee and are registered with both the AKC and NAVHDA. We place puppies throughout the United States and Canada, and litters may be born in different locations across the U.S. depending on the breeding. The parents of our puppies are dogs that Whiskeytown has bred, co-bred, or knows personally, and all have passed the breed-recommended health testing. Breeding dogs are selected based on success in both conformation and field work. Before going to their new homes, puppies are microchipped, dewormed, and health checked. They are raised with love in our home and are exposed to new people, birds, and other dogs to help support proper socialization. Whiskeytown Sporting Dogs determines puppy placement based on availability and gender once the litter is born. We carefully match puppies to each family’s unique needs and goals. Priority is given to hunt, conformation, and performance homes, although each litter is unique and may offer a different blend of qualities.
